Welcome to the new Nuclear Pharmacy Intern Blog!

I thought this would be a fun way to communicate with each other. I know the summer is drawing to a close and it would be a good way to reflect on what you are learning and the experiences you have.

I encourage you to share your comments and thoughts.

I found this to be too cute.

A few days ago near the beginning of my day shift, the meters started going crazy. I looked up and thought "This is an odd time to get a generator." After looking around for a few seconds, I saw no incoming packages and noone was currently drawing or eluting. The meters quieted seconds later.

Sincerely confused but no longer concerned, I went back to work only to have the meters once more whine as they did before.

I didn't catch it until I was surveying boxes. The events went as follows:

Myself: "Why are all of these packages reading Yellow II?"
(As I slowly held the hotdog up towards one of my coworkers walking past.)
Myself: "Um, Jim...did you take a swim in the decay barrels?"
Jim: "Nope, heart study!"

I'm going to miss this place.

I think my favorite part of the summer was the daily question from Lacey... "Is a Hida a choletec?" One of our pharmacists said that he wanted to have a shirt made for her with that question across the front. :-) We had a lot of fun this summer. I am currently trying to convince any of the pharmacists to quit/retire in May 2010 so that I can work there. :-)
